DESCRIPTION
The $740 million Northwest Transmission Line (NTL) is a 344-kilometre, 287-kilovolt transmission line between Skeena Substation (near Terrace, BC) and Bob Quinn Lake in northern British Columbia.
The project is expected to be successfully completed on time in 2014.
SERVICES RENDERED
I completed snow avalanche hazard mapping and risk assessment to workers along the entire NTL alignment through construction and operation phases of the project. The work was then adopted into the BC Hydro provincial Avalanche Safety Plan.
