WSA Engineering provided civil engineering services as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering and design team for this $32 million secondary school demolition and replacement in Trail, BC, for which I was project manager, engineer, and consultant’s representative to the multi-disciplinary project team.

The scope of work was expanded mid-project to include new municipal servicing off-site, whereupon I successfully coordinated a construction partnership and cost sharing agreement between the client, general contractor, and City to complete this extra work on short notice without affecting the critical path to occupancy of the new building at the start of the school year.

SERVICES RENDERED

• Site servicing design – water, natural gas, sanitary sewer, on site storm water management, access and parking, greenspace and playing fields.
• Municipal servicing design – coordinated separate project with contractor and City of Trail to replace water service main to site.
• Construction period services – inspection, testing.
• Project management – budgeting, tendering, workgroup coordination, contract administration, progress payments.
