DESCRIPTION
This multi-phase, fee simple and strata lot subdivision in Castlegar, BC, was developed by a co-operative group of seniors to provide and sell neighbourhood residential housing and use the proceeds to construct a seniors’ care and lifestyle center with some retail and medical services.
SERVICES RENDERED
$4 million Grandview Heights Phase I involved the design, tendering, and construction of roads, servicing, 59 fee-simple single-family building lots, and 52 single- and multi-family strata housing units. This project required over 1.8 km of new water service main and a booster pumping station connected to the City of Castlegar’s municipal water distribution system.
I was a key member of the Grandview project team from design through development approval, tendering, construction, and substantial completion.
