Thomas Chalmers M.Sc. P.Eng.

PRINCIPAL

Thomas is a Professional Engineer with almost two decades’ experience across civil engineering, ecological design, project management, and natural hazard risk management arenas in Canada and abroad.

His municipal engineering projects for community infrastructure renewal, parks, and land development, in both the public and private sectors, focus on sustainable sites with cost-conscious integrated design, respecting local societal and ecological concerns. Project values up to $30M.

His diverse project and construction management portfolio includes municipal, transportation, energy, industry, land development, parks, and residential projects with values from $10k-$5B.

Thomas has been natural hazard risk management engineer, construction and operations safety planner, and site safety team leader for numerous infrastructure, transportation, and industry projects up to $5B value. 

Thomas also has over twenty years of experience in professional communications.

His career has been equally split between field and office, chiefly serving projects in rural municipalities and wilderness environments.
